Unveiling Logo of ICC WORLD T20 of 2014 in Dhaka



Next ICC World Twenty20 will be held in Bangladesh. The logo of ICC T20 2014 has been unveiled on 6 April, 2013. The colors of Bangladesh flag are used in the logo of ICC World T20 of 2014. The splashes of blue on the logo represent the country’s iconic waterways as well as being the ICC’s own color. The ‘T’ is made up of cricket stumps and the ‘0’ represents cricket ball.



There attended Vice President of International Cricket Council (ICC) AHM Mustafa Kamal and President of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCC) Nazmul Hassan, Banladesh’s current national team captain Mushfiqur Rahim and one of the agents of women’s cricket team Sathira Jakir as well as about five hundred specially invited guests. Athar Ali Khan – former Bangladesh cricket star and now renowned commentator and Farah Sharmeen compeered in this program. On the program most of the popular artists of Bangladesh Lubna Marium and her team ‘Shadhona’, singers Habib and Nancy as well as popular magician Jewel Aich and sand artist Koushik Bose performed in front to the guests. The program had been telecast live to the Bangladeshi TV channels.

Though Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka arranged the ICC World Cup in 2011, Bangladesh will arrange the ICC World T20 in 2014 alone. In the next year, the ICC T20 will be started from 16th March and the final match will be held on 6 April. On the ICC World T20, 16th team will participate. On the other hand, 8 teams
of women will also participate on the ICC World T20 of 2014. The event will be held in Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium at Mirpur,
Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium at Chittagong, Shahid Kamruzzaman Stadium at Rajshahi, Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium at Khulna, Sylhet Divisional Stadium and Cox’s Bazar Stadium (to be constructed).

We are eagerly waiting for the ICC World Twenty20 of 2014.

Savar Tragedy of Bangladesh: My Feelings and Views

On the 24 April a nine stored building collapsed at Savar in Bangladesh. On that time thousands of garments’ workers were on that building. There were 5 garments on that building. The people of Bangladesh thought that there were approximately three thousand and five hundred people were on that building.
